All children love the recently produced cartoon Toy Story. Johnny Smiths Christmas is along similar lines and deals with the fears of his toys that they will be discarded once the new Christmas presents are opened. However, they love Johnny, and help to rescue him from the grip of the naughty Goblin. A delightful musical work for 6 to 9 year olds, full of lovely songs and manageable dialogue.
