Written by a Primary School teacher for children from 5 - 9 years of age, The Manger Tree is both funny and touching. The script lines are short for ease of learning and the songs simple and catchy.
The story includes parts for the trees, the forest creatures, four rather silly woodmen ( the baddies of the piece ) as well as the traditional nativity characters, so there are opportunities for the less forthcoming children as well as the natural performers.
The numbers of players is extremely flexible, suitable for small and larger schools. A CD of Backing Tracks and Vocals is available.
